Dear Heather, Gil, Marshall and Angie and Randy,

Our thoughts are with you all at this very sad time. I have lovely memories of Walter and Gladys and I know what a loss his passing will be for you all. He lived a full and long life and made the most of every moment. He was an inspiration to many and it was an honour to have known him.

Dear Heather and Gilbert.
"Uncle" Walter was the spark to Harold Tremaine's tinder. :) They so enjoyed each other. Because of that we became Walter followers.
Sandy and I always enjoyed the conversations and teas. Besides that I admired his ministeries to the people around and the community at large. His heart was to make another's burden a little lighter. May his great spirit be found in another. ;D

I have very fond memories of Walter, as young as preschool and being at Oakner school listening to the Riddells play their music and sleeping on the coats in the coat room lulled by the old time music. Being a neighbor as well, spending evenings with them as parents visited...and even had occasion to stay overnight on a few occasions as my parents had to be away and I was in school..Such a fine, gentle soul...I remember him dearly and send my deepest condolences...Dianna Calverley Melita, Mb
