I've been thinking about all my grandma Mary's friends who have 'passed on' over the years. Ruth is one of those who will be missed - she watched over Grandma and came to visit her at the nursing home where she lives on at 102. My point? Ruth will truly be missed by my family and I'm sure by my grandmother.

Kim, my heart is aching. Your mom was a presence in my life since I met you in grade 10! She was such a wonderful caring mom. And in later years, I learned so much from her about faith, compassion, and abiding love. So sorry that I couldn't be at the service. It would have been a great honour to be part of her send off! Love, Dianne
