We were so sorry to hear about Donna's passing. She was the big sister to Bill for many years. We were always happy to hear from her when she visited Kathy and to pick her up and take her west to Cochrane for lunch. We always had such a great time with her. Her sense of humour was the BEST. We shall miss her greatly!!

Kevin, Cathy, Sandra, Murray and families,
We are so sorry to hear of the sudden passing of your Mother.
"Cousin Donna" had always been one of my favorite people to talk to, at any of the Finlay gatherings, whether it be family birthdays or funerals. Her sense of dry humor, tell it the way it is and playfulness have been witnessed many a time. At one family gathering, we were standing side by side and she whispers to me, "Tell your Dad that I am not talking to him today"! and then she would make a face at him and then laugh! She is forever in our lives, due to the stories that my Father, Bill has told about her chasing him around, to get water from the well ("I'm gonna knock your head cleeeeean off!), when they were younger and also for her accompanying my Father, on the train from Manitoba to Alberta, in the early 1950's.
She will be sadly missed by all who knew her and we are no exception. May each of you and your families find peace during this difficult time. Love Lisa Wiebe Crayford

So Sorry to hear about your mother, I guess we have lost touch as we were not aware of Her even being in the hospital. It was not long ago when I visited your mother and she gave me the Sproat family bible. My father Norman Heaman was a first cousin to Donna.
