May Bernadette (Desjarlais) Finlay

May Bernadette Finlay (Desjarlais); born May 9, 1952; passed away peacefully at home on November 17, 2023 at 71 years of age.

A loving mother, grandmother, wife, and sister. May loved her family, playing bingo, watching her soaps and having a clean home. She loved her husband's lasagna, and seeing her hummingbirds and birds around the house as well as loved flowers.

May is survived by her loving family: husband Russell; daughter Tanya (Paul) Korchik; son Sean (Shelby); grandson Noah; sister Marie Bauer; brothers Robert (Margie) and Raymond Desjarlais; and many nieces and nephews.

May was predeceased by her parents Leo and Alice Desjarlais; siblings Paul, Margaret, Eugene, and Annette Desjarlais.

Funeral service will be held at the St. Lazare Roman Catholic Church, St. Lazare, MB on Friday, November 24, 2023 at 11:00am. Interment will take place at the St. Lazare Cemetery at a later date.
