Melva Maureen Milne passed away at the Virden Health Centre, Virden, MB at the age of 86.
Maureen is survived by her many nieces and nephews Seanna Hyndman, Kevin (Holly) Hyndman, Kim (Brent) Moffat, Debe (Andre) Rosset, Arnie Godlien, Geoff (Jane) Milne, Brad (Carla) Milne.
Maureen was predeceaseed by her loving husband Earl, her parents Melvin and Ruby Godlien. Also predeceased by her sister Leeann and brother Bruce.
She enjoyed many years as a teacher and developed strong relationships with staff and her students in Hamiota and several smaller local rural schools prior to her time in Hamiota.
She was a talented artist and enjoyed a quiet simple life, the majority of which was spent in Lavinia. Earl and Maureen retired to Hamiota where they were welcomed into a close knit community known as the Heritage Drive Condos. A huge thank you to her neighbors and close friends for all their love and support.
The family would like to thank the paramedics, doctors, and nurses at the Virden Health Centre.
