Marion (Newton) Porteous

Marion Olive Porteous; beloved wife of Victor; mother of Glenn Porteous, Blair Porteous, Kerry (Dan) McCartnery, Darcy Porteous, and the late Nickolina Porteous; passed away at the Hamiota District Health Centre, Hamiota, MB on Friday, June 12, 2026 at 79 years of age.

A celebration of Marion's life will be held at the Hamiota United Church, Hamiota, MB, on Monday, June 22, 2026 at 2:00pm with interment following in the Hamiota Cemetery. A reception will take place in Chumah Hall (Hamiota United Church).

For those so desiring, donations may be made in Marion's memory to the Birch Lodge Personal Care Home, payable to Prairie Mountain Health, Box 751, Hamiota, MB, R0M 0T0.
