February 16, 1947 – April 24, 2020

Joyce passed away at the QE2 Hospital in Grande Prairie, Alberta on April 24, 2020 from aggressive cancer at the age of 73 years young. She was surrounded by family.

Joyce Annette (Dowalatek) Blelloch was loved by everyone. She loved all the company that would stop by for coffee. She talked about her grandchildren and loved to show off her photos of them. Her nickname by some was Rosie and Lucky Leprechaun. Her hobbies were singing, gardening, and reading; she enjoyed the outdoors, making perogies and baking. She collected salt and pepper shakers from the age of 12 with a total of over 1000 pairs.

The past 3 years she has spent the winter with her Daughter and family at Fairview, Alberta and returned in the spring to Foxwarren, Manitoba.

She will be forever missed by all who knew her and loved her.

Joyce is survived by her daughter Brenda (Steve) Cooper, son John (Leah) Weselak, sister Lisa (Allen) Verhaeghe, sister Sandra (Bill) Mekenzie, sister-in-law Sonia Weselak, brother-in-law Angues (Kate) Blelloch, brother-in-law Glen Hunter, sister-in-law Pearle Dietrich, sister-in-law Jean (Blelloch) (Ron) Barteaux, father-in-law Bob Blelloch, grandchildren Carter, Dalton, Dylan and Jamie Cooper (Brenda & Steve); Bailey, Chantelle, Tanner, Cody and Kavanaugh Weselak (John & Leah); Brandy and Kayla Weselak (Timmy), great-grandchildren Aviannah Joyce Louise (arrived on April 24, 2020), Mekylah (Dylan & Justine); Aria and Davina Cooper (Jamie); Ryker and Malachi (Chantelle & Scott); new arrivals for July 2020 Carter & Courtney; new arrival for Oct 2020 Chantelle & Scott, As well several extended relatives.

Joyce was predeceased by her husband Russ Blelloch, her parents Alice and Barney Dowalatek, son Tim Weselak, great-granddaughter Izzebella Marie Ritchie, sisters Bev Hunter and Shirley Miller, brother-in-law Mark Blelloch

A service for Joyce will be held at a later date.
