Jean Elizabeth (Simpson) Skinner

Jean Elizabeth Skinner; beloved wife of the late Les Skinner and mother of Dana (Lloyd), Brent (Heather), Linda (Matthew); loved Nanny of Colten, Keana, Shaelynn, Tyler, Taylor and November; passed away at Dinsdale Personal Care Home, Brandon, MB, on April 27th, 2025 at 88 years of age.

Jean was a loving and compassionate woman who worked as a Registered Nurse her entire career.

She was an amazing mother and nurse, always putting her family and patients ahead of herself. There was never a time that all her kid’s friends weren't welcomed into her home for a warm meal and a place to stay. There was never a family member or patient that were alone in their final moments if Mom was able to be there.

Thinking of her kids until the end, she requested no funeral, just a private graveside service for her children at the Oak River Cemetery.

We would like to thank the staff on the 3rd floor of Dinsdale Personal care home for their loving and compassionate care of our mom for her entire stay at the home.
