Iris (Naismith) Hemrica

Iris Hemrica (Naismith) passed away at Brandon, MB on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 66 years of age.

Iris was predeceaed by her parents Elmer and Helen (Buan) Naismith; sister Linda Gordon; sisters in-law Linda Naismith and Carol Foote; and husband Glenn Hemrica.

Iris is lovingly remembered by her children Kathy Zabowski (Phil Wells), Dennis (Lisa) Hemrica, Loretta (Brad) Black; grandchildren Angela (Kyle), Tyler (Ainsley), Kyle, Wyatt, Nate, Jaden (Chris), Brett, Sydney, Camryn; great grandchildren Beau, Benett, Ashlyn, Rylee, Lucas, Hélène, Madeleine; brothers Brian Naismith and Dale (Karen) Naismith; sisters Brenda (Norbert) Dekezel, Reta Bergen, Judy (Maurice) Demare; brother in-law Carl Gordon; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at the Millford Cemetery, Municipality of Glenboro-South Cypress, MB on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at 2:30pm. Bring a lawn chair if you wish.

*Please note that the bridge on Provincial Road 530 southeast of Treesbank over the Souris River is washed out and you will have to use Hwy #2 to reach the cemetery. Please see the directions link below. 

A reception will follow at the Wawanesa & District Community Hall, Wawanesa, MB.
