Frances (Strachan) Skiftun

The world lost a beloved mother Frances Pauline Skiftun (Sis) 63 years old found at her home of 25 years on April 22, 2022.  

She was a widow of Lyle Skiftun, they shared 33 years of marriage together.  

Frances was a loving, devoted mother to Pauline & Justine, and the BEST Grandma a child could ask for.

Born in Emo, Ontario on May 14th, 1958 daughter of Leonard and Myrle Strachan.  They moved to Manitoba in 1966.

She devoted her life to her children and grandchildren.  Frances loved woodworking, sports, fishing and spending time with her family.

She is survived by: 

Pauline (Justin) Moyer, their children: Kohen, Kyrna & Hudson.

Justine (Stephen McDonald) Skiftun, their children: Lilly, Isabel, Silver, Ariel & Magnus.

Her Step-children:

Rylee (Cora) their children Jayden, Sawyer, Kira, Ryder.

Stacey (Adam McEwen) their children:  Hannah, Emma, Nixon. 

Tyler (Leanne Smith) their children

Kianna, Pyper, Layla, Mia. Taura(Trenton) Kovich their children

Rylan, Dawn, Cherish, Jaxton, Willow.

Wanda Reed (Skiftun) her children: Austin Reed, Wyatt Reed, his children

Kaia, Hayes, Jesse Reed.

Sheila Abbott and her children: Raeann Abbott (Alex Romak), Greyson Romak, Paige Kreutz, Eva Kreutz.

Siblings: Sharon (Larry), Maxine, Murray, Sheldon (Geraldine), Dawn (Kent).

Predeceased by siblings: Connie 2014 (Jack), Derold (1976), Lucille (1955).

Her dog Comet and Cocoa the crazy cat!
