Eleanor (Bryant) Airey

Eleanor Airey of Kenton, Mb passed away peacefully Mar 21, 2023. Eleanor will always be lovingly remembered by her children Dan (Lisa), Terry (Lenny), Jason (Sandra), Jody (Jane) as well as her grandchildren Brett (Brittany), Dustin (Shayna), Zac (Jill), Taylor, Shane, Kayla, Lacey, Colt, Charlie, Alex; great grandchildren Cole, Jill, Sophie; sister Donna and brother Ron (Vickie); nieces; nephews; and many family and friends.

Eleanor was born Nov 4, 1941, to Reg and Muriel Bryant of Miniota. She was raised on the family farm in Miniota along with her siblings, Bob, Ron, Donna and Faye. She always had many happy stories to tell of her younger years growing up on the farm.

In 1960 Eleanor married Bill Cameron and together they traveled Manitoba with Bill working for the Hydro. After having their children Dan and Terry they eventually settled in Kenton.

Later Eleanor met Raymond Airey and together they raised their 2 boys Jason and Jody, while farming just outside of Kenton for over 40 years. In those years Eleanor also worked out of the home as a bus driver, in grocery stores or just volunteering to help people whenever needed. Her most favorite job of all was being able to help with the grandchildren. They were most definitely the love of her life.

Eleanor was predeceased by her husband Raymond, parents Reg and Muriel, brother Bob, sister-in-law Gert and nephew Calvin, sister Faye, brother-in-law George, stepdaughter Lana and her husband Wally.

A service for Eleanor will be held in Kenton Memorial Hall, Kenton, MB on April 19 at 2pm.
