It is with heavy hearts that we announce Barbara, a resident of Comox, BC died peacefully at the North Island Hospital Comox Valley.
Barbara was born in September of 1943 in Lennoxville, P.Q.
Barbara spent many years as the manager of Woodlawn Cemetery in Cornwall, Ont. During that time of helping grieving families Barbara felt the call to ministry. That call changed the direction of Barbara’s life. Through dedication and hard work, Barbara became active clergy within the United Church of Canada. Barbara spent the last of her ministry with a two-point charge. Hamiota United and Kenton United. Barbara always felt the love and acceptance from both communities.
Barbara Rediker is survived by her two sons and a daughter-in-law, Fred, Jeff and Candy. Her three wonderful grandchildren, her sister Jean Hicks, as well as her beloved boxer Moka. Barbara was predeceased by her sister Margaret Anne Warner, and father Fred Hicks.
