It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Aileen Isabelle Turner of Brandon, MB on February 23, 2025 at the age of 86 years.
Aileen is survived by her four children: Cheryl Johnston, Maureen (Brian) Harris, Glenda (Donald) Francoeur, and Blaine (Melanie) Turner. Grandchildren Christopher (Tami), Ryan, Kaelee, Cody (Miyuki), Dane, Breanne (Austin), Tyler (Becca), and Brett. Great Grandchildren Rylee, Austyn, and Joseph.
Aileen was born in Erickson, MB on January 22, 1939 to Vernon and Rose Rollings. She is survived by her siblings Gary Rollings and Karen Bergeson.
Aileen was an active member of The Order of The Royal Purple for many years. She worked at Reitmans and then Canada Safeway from where she retired. She made many lifelong friends while at Safeway.
Aileen enjoyed the simple pleasures in life such as camping, harness racing or just visiting and playing cards with family and friends. She was an amazing cook and baker. She made the best pies for miles around.
She enjoyed spending time with her granddog Nick. They went on many leisurely walks together.
One of her last memorable times was the day of her 86th birthday party. She had her four children, as well as many friends and relatives helping her celebrate her special day.
Aileen was predeceased by her parents Vernon and Rose Rollings; her partner Harvey Duncan; her brother in-law Gordon Bergeson, brother in-law John Yaworski; sister Marilyn Yaworski; and son in-law Mark Johnston.
