I just heard today. This was both shocking and saddening. I've known Kenny from the time we moved to Newdale a number of years back. I've known him to be one who was energetic and a sportsman. It was from Kenny that I found out about stuffing garlic into a roast to the max. I recall the friendly banter at the coffee shop.
Lylla, I'm so sorry to hear of Kenny's passing. I honestly know what you're going through. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this very difficult time. Hold onto each other. It's one day at a time.

My deepest condolences go out to you and your family. Ken and I were very close friends during our high school years. Ken was a very caring person with a curly head of hair and a heart of gold that has been taken much too soon. We spent many hours at the curling rink and talking about life in general. I have so many memories of our friendship but one of my fondest memories was a late night drive with Chris and Jacqui that turned into a morning sunrise...much to his parents dismay. May the Lord give you strength and courage as you work through this difficult time.

We are so sorry to hear of Ken's passing.
There are so many memories to share, but the one that's my favourite is his love for my fried egg sandwiches. Way back when, after the Newdale bonspiel, Ken would come home with Pete in the early hours of the morning for a fried egg sandwich, which according to Ken were the best. Every time we saw Ken, he would bring it up.
Treasure the memories, his love and passion for his family was evident.
He will be missed by many.

As kids, my brother (Doug) and I would curl with Ken in day-long practice sessions, throwing rocks for hours every Sunday. Ken always treated me with kindness and encouragement. When I heard I was so upset as your passing was one where I still have all the memories and fun times we had from baseball, snowmable riding, hunting, curling and the great times at silver broom in Winnipeg.
