Sincere sympathy to you Mae, Barb, Scott & family, Wanda & family, Doris, Dean & family and Cheryl. We lit a green candle in memory of Harvey as he had a green thumb & cherished his bountiful garden produce. We will plant the lettuce seeds that were handed out at his graveside service & we will think of him as we watch it grow.

I awoke at 3 a.m. Edmonton time for no particular reason. Later that morning Mum called me to tell me that HR had passed away in the night. Must have been a ripple in The Force that awoke me that early. My life has always had Uncle Harvey in it. I spent countless days/nights at the farm having sleepovers, swimming in the gravel pit, playing board games and card games, waiting for the next victim of the dribble glass. We used to go to Brandon and I would play in Grandma Lints' house. Christmas concerts and Remembrance Day ceremonies in Decker church. When I got older and came home, it was always "HR was asking about you, you should go see him and Mae". So I started going a few times first in Hamiota then in more often in Neepawa. The last number of years have always included a visit to HR and Mae. During each visit I always got a big ol' hug. We talked about baseball and curling and our gardens (theirs was always better), and kids/grandkids and his new car (always had a new car). I saw them when I was last home in June. Still got my hug. I will miss him dearly, so many great memories too numerous to recount here. Thinking of you all today. Wish I could be there. Give each other a hug for me.

Dear Colleen, Brent and Family. Thank you for the lovely condolences, I wasn't around for all the early years, but after I married Harvey, you and Doris did lots of things together. Harvey was a wonderful man and was very well thought of by a lot of people. I'll miss him terribly, Love Mae.
